My little man

Gavin fell asleep on the floor before church while the rest of us were still getting ready- I wondered why he was being so quiet!

Gavin loves this big dog at the library! As soon as we walk in the door he says, "doggie?"
Gavin loves his cousin Max!

Spring

It is Spring! Time for parks, parades, and basketball!!

Rielly LOVES babies (even if they are practically toddlers)! She just wants to help them and hold them!

St Patricks Day Parade in Kansas City- it was so CROWDED!

We drove to Salina (~3 hr drive) to watch Ashlynn play in her basketball tournament! She lost the game we saw, but won the rest of them! It was really good timing because Chris was on Spring Break! We had lots of fun spending the day with family just talking and letting the kids play!

Gavin LOVED the band!

February 2012

We started doing a home-taught preschool for Rielly with some friends (Violet, Peyton, and Joanna)- She LOVES it! This was the Valentines party we had.  It is a lot of fun with those girls!

We have been making smoothies a lot recently and the kids love them! You can't really see it in the picture, but they always get smoothie between their eyebrows too!

Rielly is always "going" somewhere!

We went to Kidscape with some friends- tried to get a picture, but this was the best one I got! I need a faster camera!

Dr Rielly and Dr Violet checking out the patient :)

Christmas

Inside the Holiday train

This tree was huge but I think the one at Crown Center was even bigger, unfortunately my camera died!

A gingerbread village! There was a sign that said how much of each ingredient was used (like 150 lbs of sugar)- I wish I would have taken a picture of it, it was unbelievable!

Eating Gammy's banana bread- YUMMY!

Sweet little Mary- our Joseph didn't want to be in the picture.

We went to Union Station a week before Christmas and saw their holiday train- so cool and so much fun! While we were there we went to Crown Center as well which was equally as impressive! Both are  a new Christmas tradition for the next 4 years! We went to the Bass Pro Shop as well to see their Holiday setup- the kids loved it!! All the REAL stuffed animals were amazing! I guess I had just never really been in a store like that before. Christmas itself was good besides the fact that we were all sick! Eye infections, coughs, congestion... in Gavin's words, "Gross!"

Random Pics

Gavin LOVES to sit with his Dad while he studies! And I love it too!

Rielly pushes Gavin in this truck, even though he barely fits in it.

Nothing better than a box from Sam's Club!

Thanksgiving

I didn't get any pictures at Richard's of actual Thanksgiving dinner of course- I am so forgetful! But I did get some of us at the Plaza lights that night. A balmy 60 degrees too! (They said last year it was 19!) The pictures aren't as impressive as it was in person, but you get the gist. The kids loved the music and the fireworks!

Chris is 29!

He wanted orange rolls for breakfast- so we put a candle in one for him! Then we went to the JC Children's Museum- we had talked so much about it, Chris had to see it for himself! The kids just LOVE going there- so much to do, and it is all so fun!! Chris is such a good Dad!!!
